Design that lasts the distance
Good packaging should do more than protect its contents. It should arouse curiosity, tell a story and give your brand a place on the shelf.
At hl-repro, we have particular experience in food packaging, where demands are high and competition for consumer attention is fierce. We combine creativity with technical insight and develop solutions that both catch the eye and work in practice.
This means that your design doesn't just look good on screen - it's also considered for production, materials and the shelf in the store.
PACKAGING DESIGN THAT WORKS IN PRACTICE
- Design and development of food packaging and labels
- Customisation of existing designs for new formats and products
- Advice on colours, materials and technical limitations
- Preparing files so everything is print-ready and in order the first time
In a nutshell: We deliver packaging design that makes an impression - and lasts all the way from production to consumer.
Brief and goals
To get off to the right start, we clarify the product, the type of packaging and your requirements for the design. We determine the shape, format, material, printing method and the goals the design must fulfil - so we work from a common and precise direction.
Design & technical customisation
In this step, we develop and customise the design so that it works both visually and technically.
This includes layout, colours, typography, image selection - combined with print understanding, colour space, tolerances and everything that makes the design durable in production.
Proofreading and approval
Once the design draft is ready, we send it for proofreading.
This gives you the opportunity to correct, refine and approve - and we ensure that all details are in place before the files are ready for printing.
Ready-to-press optimisation
After approval, we adapt the files for printing.
This includes colour management, trapping, profiles, layer structure and the technical details that provide a stable and reproducible result on the press.
